Founder’s view
PenFit starts with the person. It is designed to make retirement priorities easier to express and easier to use in better conversations, retirement design and governance.
In 2025, 22.6 million eligible employees were saving into a workplace pension in Great Britain, and £166.1 billion was saved into workplace pensions by eligible savers.
And yet, very few people have ever been asked what actually matters to them in retirement.
The conversation too often starts with the pension, not the person. PenFit was created to change that.
Its purpose is simple: help people explore what matters to them in retirement and the trade-offs they are prepared to make, make those priorities visible, and allow that evidence to inform better conversations, retirement design and governance.
For members, the value is clearer self-understanding. For organisations, the value is better evidence.
PenFit is not about replacing professional or fiduciary judgement. It is about giving that judgement better information.
Let’s make pensions more human.
